Description:

Hotel Sales and Revenue Management are the driving terms exercised worldwide in the hotel industry. Students will learn the skills of hotel sales and revenue management, including how a hotel sales office is structured, roles of the hotel sales team, sales processes and hotel markets, how to create, interpret and utilization of financial data to determine the direction and maximization of hotel revenues.

Hotel Sales teams work with the Revenue Management team to ensure hotel revenues are optimized. Students will apply and practice the essential steps and techniques in the hotel sales process to utilize revenue maximizing guidelines.

Students will participate in on-line learning modules including the sales, catering and revenue hotel program - OPERA. OPERA is a universally recognized PMS and hotel sales tool.
