Description | Human resource planning (HRP) links the Human Resources function to the organizations mission, goals, objectives, and strategies. It is the process of determining human resource requirements and formulating goals, objectives, and strategies to ensure the organization has the necessary human resources to meet its mission, operational goals, and strategic targets. HRP is forward looking and involves anticipating future human resource requirements and developing plans and strategies to meet them. In this course you will learn about the HRP process. You will develop and analyze alternative human resource strategies and critically assess their relationship to the operational and strategic plans of the organization. |
