Description

As the most populous country in the world, India’s claim to being an emerging power in the 21st century world is owed to its multidimensional growth through post-independence years. Thus, the making of India is a journey of navigation through tradition and an intricate dance of transitions over centuries. In this course, students will study these nuanced transitions while exploring the dynamic interplay of historical, social and political forces. With a comprehensive study of India’s evolution, students will engage with the vibrant narratives defining India’s heritage while analyzing transformative trends propelling it forward. The course will help unravel the complexities of a nation that blends tradition with diverse facets of the country’s ever-evolving present day landscape.
