Description

This Control Systems 1 course presents an integrative approach to the use of electromechanical controls and apply programmable logic controllers (PLC) to typical industrial automation. This course also introduce the basic characteristics and operational principles of industrial motors. The theory and lab portions provide the students a good general knowledge of PLC while concentrating on relay ladder logic techniques and knowing how to convert the control circuits into PLC ladder diagrams that will allow them to easily adapt to other PLC. Student will also learn the basic principles of feedback control systems.
