Description
Welcome to the study of child development! In this course we will look at some of the general principles of development and child development theory. We will explore the importance of observation and have the opportunity to practice several observation techniques. The course will focus on the development of infants and toddlers in each of the developmental domains (physical, social, cognitive and language). Students will learn how to apply the knowledge gained in this course to their work with infants and toddlers in the child care setting.
