| Description | This course is designed to give the students knowledge of the operating characteristics of DC machines, single phase motors, three-phase squirrel cage motors and the operation principles of transformers. The student will be taught how to create and read ladder type schematics for basic motor connections and associated motor control circuits. The student will learn how to properly select, install and troubleshoot motor control systems for DC motors, single and three phase AC motors. |
