| Description | The Installation of Mechanical Cooling Systems section will provide the apprentice with both theory and practical training. Course provides the apprentice with the ability to identify applicable safe work practices, lifting equipment and material handling equipment used during installations. In addition, the curriculum ensures that the apprentice is able to describe worksite preparation procedures. Furthermore, the curriculum ensures the apprentice is able to demonstrate use of measuring and checking instruments and devices, use of hand and power tools to cut and join refrigerant tubing, installation procedures and starting up and commissioning a mechanical cooling system. |
