Description

Lecture:
This course builds the trainee’s knowledge of instrument flight procedures to the proficiency level required to obtain an instrument rating. CRM skills for instrument flight are developed using scenario-based training (SBT) to analyze aircraft accidents and incidents.

Lab: (Instrument Flight training, group 3)
Activities are designed to train instrument flight procedures to the proficiency level required to obtain an instrument rating (Group 3). All Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) training is completed in a LOS format to assist in developing critical CRM skills for instrument flight such as Situational Awareness, Workload Management and Pilot Decision Making.

Lecture (ground school) – Lab (aircraft or flight training device/simulator)

All training takes place at the Oshawa Airport: Canadian Flight Academy building – 1250 Airport Blvd., Oshawa ON L1J 8P5
