| Description | Integrated Core Skills is a full-semester course designed for pre-intermediate English language learners. Divided into two parts (Part A: Weeks 1–7 and Part B: Weeks 8–14), the course focuses on developing reading and writing through themed units. Students will strengthen their ability to plan, draft and revise organized paragraphs, while building vocabulary and developing proficiency in key sentence structures. In Part A (Places; Festivals and Celebrations), students will investigate different festivals and celebrations around the world to complete a writing portfolio with the narrative and opinion styles. In Part B (Sports and Competition; People), students will research and study different inspiring people to complete a writing portfolio with expository and comparative writing styles. |
