| Description | Interactive Journalism introduces students to the concepts of journalism in the online age and offers an opportunity to try their hand through working on a web site set up specifically for the purpose. Included will be theory and practice, the types of interactive journalism available including online news sites, podcasting and vodcasting, streaming, imaging and the use of effective headlines and cutlines. There will also be emphasis on learning how to rewrite from multiple sources and how to write copy with the internet in mind. |
