Description | The course aims to broaden students thinking about narrative and interaction design through the exploration of the fundamental concepts of audience, storytelling and techniques and strategies for the production of interactive media. It will explore narrative forms, models for visualizing and mapping interactive narratives, principles and techniques of segmentation, interactivity vs. non-linearity, navigation, juxtaposition, story lines, and multiple points of view. Students will investigate the interplay between creative expression and technological capability in the construction of interactive multiplatform experiences. |
