Description:

The course aims to broaden students thinking about the strategy behind narrative and interaction design through the exploration of the fundamental concepts of audience, and storytelling and techniques behind a user experience and strategies for the conception  of interactive media experiences and strategies. It will explore audience segmentation, personas, critical analysis of existing strategies and experiences, interactivity vs. non-linearity, navigation, juxtaposition, story lines, and multiple points of view. Students will investigate the interplay between creative expression and market relevance and appropriateness in the construction of interactive multiplatform experiences.
