Description | To succeed in international business, it is essential to have proficient interpersonal, intrapersonal and intercultural communication skills. This course focuses on strategies to develop these skills and apply them in an international business context. Students will gain an understanding of the proper international communication tools and strategies to implement in professional business writing (e.g. - reports, emails, memos, letters), presenting, researching, meetings, group dynamics, and business etiquette; as well as, online technologies (e.g.- social media, web presentations, video conferencing). Throughout the course, students will be challenged with interactive on-line and in-class communication activities that include: simulations, case analysis, and group work. |
