| Description | In this course, students will focus on the development of critical thinking skills to assess the current global business environment and to predict future trends in order to evaluate strategies for global value creation. Students will also critique strategic values and priorities in different political-economic systems, and the global strategy framework that supports sustainability and profitability for companies. They will learn about the strategic role of the global emerging market, and the strategic characteristics of the emerging global economic and business orders. Students will have the opportunity to assess how strategic business decisions are influenced by international trade agreements. They will also explain how companies develop and execute strategies to improve their future global trajectories. Students will work individually and in teams on case studies and projects to evaluate and develop strategies that create value, manage risks, and ensure corporate social responsibility. |
