| Description | International Economics will familiarize the students with the concepts and tools traditionally used in analyzing international trade such as: the balance of international payments, the process of adjustment to international trade flows, exchange rates, free trade flows, exchange rates, free trade and protectionism. The course offers and understanding of the financial mechanisms, and institutions that facilitate international trade and investment flows; and gives students and opportunity to apply what they have learnt by analyzing issues and problems in international trade, international finance and foreign investment which affect the Canadian economy. |
