Description | This course provides students with a sound knowledge base in two interrelated areas of finance as it pertains to international business: world financial systems and trade finance. The former begins with an examination of the key multilateral organizations that support world financial stability and the respective roles of central and commercial banks; as well, it evaluates differences among financial institutions’ reporting requirements and accounting standards around the world. This part of the course continues with an in-depth look at foreign exchange rates and their significance to international business people. |
