| Description | Project managers in international projects are faced with a high level of ambiguity, complexity, and uncertainty. These factors differentiate international projects from domestic projects. This course explores how diversity in regulations, cultures, ethics, technological infrastructures, and social aspects of projects creates unpredictable environments and project challenges. The course discusses five disciplines, including international business management, strategic management, project management, political science, and cross-cultural management. It is delivered using an interactive teaching and learning approach supported by relevant in-class case studies. After this course, students will be able to apply PMI® project management methodology in diverse and complex environments to plan, manage, and monitor international projects. |
