Description | The World Wide Web, or the Internet as it is commonly referred to, provides a vast source of information on many different topics. How do you distinguish between a reliable site, and one in which the information may not be as accurate as you would wish? This 20-hour online course will teach instructors and trainers how to evaluate the information available to them, and how to compile a series of sites that will act as resources for future research and reference purposes. Prerequisite: Basic computer skills and understanding of online discussion technology, self-motivated, time management skills. E-mail/Internet account and access.
