| Description | Develop essential therapeutic communication skills to establish positive interpersonal relationships with individuals and groups of aging adults, families and the multidisciplinary health team. Topics include the process of communication, factors affecting interpersonal relationships, interviewing, recording and communicating with aging adults with special needs. Examine a variety of methods and roles that foster positive group interactions. |
