Description

Whether visible or not, electronic and computer technology is embedded in almost all aspects of business, health, entertainment, manufacturing, energy management systems, construction, transportation and other sectors of today’s global economy. To compete for employment and to succeed in job roles, electronics and biomedical engineering technology graduates need to possess skills that will help them adapt in the interdisciplinary, and sometimes unfamiliar, industry sectors. This first semester course introduces the students to analyzing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic and computer systems. The practical work on systems and problem solving will be done on electronic equipment, biomedical instruments, computer hardware and software, network setup, and cybersecurity tools.
