Description | Culinary events have developed into a significant revenue generator for tourism related economic development in regions, destinations and organizations throughout the world. This course provides an overview of the essentials to create and manage a food tourism event by defining and understanding the elements involved in festivals, social/life cycle and events. Students will participate in independent research, group work and integrated learning all while examining successful food tourism events. |
