Description

This course introduces students to how a tourism destination’s history, culture and people can be experienced through food. The rise in mainstream interest in food has provided opportunities for new markets and business. Additionally, students will conduct preliminary research that will support their final business plan submission in the second semester. Projections for future tourism and food trends will be explored as students consider their own business opportunities.
