This course will introduce students to the many forms of multimedia. The intended uses, benefits and strengths of each type of media and how each type can be used as a platform in food will be discussed. This course, combined with The Social Media of Food, provides students with the essential skill of evaluating and utilizing the appropriate types of media to communicate specific messages and values to the intended audience. At the end of the course, students will be able to understand the multiple types of media and how to use them for targeted messages.
