| Description | In this course, students will be introduced to the field of Operations Management (O.M.) which has been defined as the systematic approach and control of processes that transform inputs within the context of constrained human resources, material, capital, infrastructure, as well as the existing technological advancements into outputs in the form of finished goods or services. Students will learn about O.M. concepts within the context of globalization, new product proliferation and continuous search for productivity improvement. By completing this course, students will acquire the necessary set of analytical skills, tools and managerial insights that will enable them to gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace when making their career choice decisions. |
