| Description | Explore cultural attitudes and beliefs in the area of natural healing methods, and your own values and ethics in this area of health care. Learn about traditional health care systems which are based on the close relationship between philosophical/spiritual beliefs and health care; the role of spirituality as an integral part of traditional health care; the concept of wholism in relation to natural healing methods about many herbal traditions such as native, Wise Woman, Ayurvedic and Oriental; the role of botanicals as part of a multifaceted treatment protocol; and the ritual of herbs: growing, remedies and usage which is an important part of complementary health care. |
