| Description | This course examines the basic concepts of business practice and spa management, giving students the skills needed to be valuable member of the spa team. Awareness of business operations is essential to a professional esthetician. Professionalism is strongly stressed, as is day to day operations. Software program is taught to enable the students to function in a computerized setting. Advertising and marketing are taught as they relate to the industry. Areas of focus will be on the thorough understanding of the importance of home recommendation and retailing, dollar for dollar. Particular attention will be paid to developing excellent communication skills and selling products and services. |
