| Description | A major area of responsibility of the Developmental Services Worker involves ensuring that the individuals they support have a multitude of opportunities to acquire behaviours, knowledge and skills that will improve their lifestyle. This course will introduce the student to a variety of teaching skills that are required to develop and implement effective teaching plans. These teaching plans will address individual’s specific behaviours in integrated situations and the application of positive teaching strategies. A “C” grade is required for successful completion of the course. |
