Introductory to Oncology Nursing

Description

Examine the development and changes of the nurse’s role(s) in relation to caring for the client, family and communities with oncological needs. The course is designed to provide you with opportunities to expand your knowledge related to health promotion, health maintenance and health restorative strategies, program planning and evaluation, family and community assessment. It also examines how the oncological nurse applies knowledge of epidemiology, pathophysiology, and the psychosocial impact of cancer. Research findings will be used to support current trends and analyze issues.
