Description | The Job Search Skills course is highly interactive and has been designed to assist you in relation to your individual career goals. The course will provide you with the necessary skills required to effectively participate in the recruitment and selection process. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the steps by which Canadian employer select staff. The importance of creating a tailored resume, enhancing your verbal skills and non-verbal communication skills will be emphasized as you conduct a mock job interview with your professor. Students will also learn how to make effective use of the S.T.A.R technique to answer behavioral based job interview questions. You will also learn how to effectively market yourself utilizing LinkedIn. |
