| Description | This course will focus on the exploration of factors influencing the mentally disordered offender. A brief history of the evolution of forensic psychiatric nursing and the settings in which they practice will be discussed. The social and cultural factors contributing to incarceration and critical factors affecting those in mentally ill will be discussed. |
