| Description | This course will provide students with the legal issues arising because of emergencies and disasters, the limitation of emergency power and its limits. Students will study: Crises and the Law: Identification and Response, Emergency Legislation and Regulation in Canada: Working within the Framework, Emergency Management and the Public Law Framework: Impact of Constitution, Administration and International Law, Private Tools for Emergency Response, Crisis devising: Government Relations, Communication and Other Strategic Responses. |
