This course is designed to familiarize students with career planning and preparation tools and techniques to ensure job readiness and interview preparedness. Students will have the opportunity to develop professional goals and work on strategies to achieve them. Students will also learn how to integrate their knowledge, skills and abilities to enhance their career goals. They will also be given the opportunity to learn about networking and job search techniques, create a resume and cover letter, prepare a list of references, and practice interview skills. Conflict resolution, problem-solving and team-building skills will be emphasized.
