| Description | Mastercam Cad is a second semester course in the Mechanical Technician Programs (Tool & Die _Cad/Cam). This course instructs the student in the use of the “Cad Module” within the Mastercam software. The student will Create precise geometry, ranging from single entity contours to complex geometry with respect to the Computer Assisted Manufacturing function. This course prepares the student and is a prerequisite for the CAM courses in the third and fourth semesters of the programs. The method of instruction will be topical lectures and hands on interactive instructional demonstration at the computer workstation. |
