Description

Field placement is a required course in the Museum & Cultural Management program that provides the student with an experiential learning experience. This course provides meaningful work experience in appropriate positions/functional areas within the cultural sector, enabling the student to relate classroom theory to the practical world with the addition of a vocation-specific dimension to her/his career preparation. Field placement enables the student to better understand the dynamics of the industry by augmenting her/his knowledge of industry practices and provides a competitive advantage in the job market by means of sector-related work experience.
