| Description | Mechanical Blueprint Reading is a First Semester course in the Cadcam Tool and Die Maker Technician Program. This course will introduce the student to Drawing Comprehension using Orthographic/Isometric drawings of varying complexity. Emphasis will be placed on use of proper drafting practices when sketching/drawing and will include proper use of: Scaling, Dimensioning, Sections, Threaded Applications, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing. The method of instruction will be: Topical Lecture, Discussion and Hands-On sketching/drawing of parts to include all of the above. |
