Lab hours per week 2
Course Availability: Open

The purpose of this course is to allow all students enrolled in Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician program to become familiarized with both the basic graphic language of mechanical engineering drawings (Blueprint Reading) as well as the concepts and features of the AutoCAD computer-assisted-drafting program.

The first aspect of this course will involve the discussion of the principles of graphic communications as typically employed in standard industrial mechanical engineering drawings with an emphasis placed on the proper use of CSA drafting standards and practices.
