| Description | Participants of this course will continue to apply the principles learned in OAME-236 in building a vocabulary of common medical terms utilized in secretarial/clerical and clinical duties within a hospital, medical clinic or private doctor's office. Emphasis is placed on terms related to the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, male and female reproductive systems, urinary and nervous systems. Methods of instruction may include lectures and discussions, group work, films, and audio CDs. |
