Mental Health and Addictions 2: Strategies and Interventions

This course will focus on identification of symptoms and the characteristics of mental health illnesses and disorders that commonly affect at-risk clients. Students will explore the difference between someone who self-medicates or uses psychotropic drugs as a form of treatment. It is vital to understanding interventions available to those with mental health issues and the justice system.
