This course is designed to examine mental health disorders of childhood, adolescence and young adulthood as part of a continuum of development. A focus of exploration will be on the descriptions of behaviours, etiology, and current treatment of the disorders. The DSM-V will be used as a framework for this course.

Students will work independently and in groups throughout this course in an effort to advance their learning and skill set of mental health and how it manifests in young people.
