| Description | This laboratory course builds upon the student’s laboratory and project management knowledge and skills acquired from Microbiology Project 3. With minimal individual consultation, guidance and supervision, students will design a scientific protocol and perform a microbiology experiment of nine weeks duration using current evidence-based research. Project topic will have complex variables and parameters for in-depth analysis. Students will keep a detailed log of all methods, materials and results and produce a final thesis in a currently acceptable scientific format. Students will present and defend their project orally in the presence of peers and professors. |
