Description
The purpose of this fifth semester course is to introduce Energy System students to the fundamentals of microcontrollers and their use in automation. Students will explore the microcontroller architecture and learn how to develop real world applications. This development will be based on the PIC microcontroller and will allow students to grasps fundamentals of instruction sets. Through this development, students will experience firsthand the software and hardware interaction. They will gain an understanding of how to control mechanical devices through software.
