| Description | This course is offered to students in the Automation and Robotics program. It covers the basics of AC motors, including single- and three-phase motors, as well as their principles, characteristics, and construction. Stepper motors, including their characteristics and control, are also examined. Variable frequency drives and servo motors, along with their characteristics and control, are introduced. The course also provides an introduction to microprocessor hardware and assembly language, as well as programming in the C language. Topics include input/output topology and the basic functional blocks for interfacing and controlling devices such as lights, LCDs, temperature sensors, ultrasonic sensors, DC motors, and stepper motors. |
