| Description | Microeconomics analyzes the market behavior of individual consumers and firms in an attempt to understand the decision – making process of firms and households. This course will introduce students to basic concepts such as opportunity cost, scarcity, tradeoffs and efficiency, and students will also develop an analytical understanding of the demand – supply model, price elasticity and how to function in various product markets. Students will have the opportunity to apply current microeconomic issues and their effects on market participants to demonstrate the applications of microeconomic analysis in decision making. |
