Description | This course consisted of two parts. The networking part is designed to teach students all basic knowledge and techniques required in the modern communication industry. Objectives include using industry hand- and diagnostic-tools of the trade, terminating and testing CAT-5 CAT-6 and Coax communication cables, learning basics of fibre optics and how computers exchange data. At the second part students will learn to operate, program, and troubleshoot monitoring systems such as class-A and class-B fire alarm, security, nurse calling, and building automation systems. Students will learn how conversion of a traditional building to smart will result in Low Carbon Emission minimizing carbon footprints and contribute to the environmental solutions |
