The course will introduce students to major media theories and perspectives and apply those principles to more advanced multimedia production projects. Students will use basic audience measurement tools and other research to understand the role of the audience/consumer in media production and relate that to mainstream advertising, journalism and broadcasting and film industries. Students will build upon production skills gained in Multimedia 1 and contribute ideas and technical skill to a more advanced digital media team project.
