| Description | This course will develop the general musicianship of each student by focusing on three areas: ear training (2 hours per week), vocal technique (1.5 hours per week), and keyboard skills (1.5 hours per week). Students will learn how to aurally discern musical intervals, scales, chords and chord progressions. Vocal technique will be taught through group voice lessons in the context of an informal choir. Students will also develop basic keyboard skills necessary for inputting musical material into computer software programs. |
