| Description | This course introduces standard network management concepts and techniques. Beginning with the SNMP protocol and how it enables network management, the course progresses to management tools and techniques such as RMON1, RMON2, desktop management, and web-based management, and provides detailed coverage of SNMPv1, SNMPv2, and SNMPv3. Students will have the opportunity to demonstrate these concepts and techniques in a hands-on lab environment using state-of-the-art tools and systems. |
