Description | The goal of this course is to prepare students for the real-world challenges of a computer networking and server professional. This course provides a broad understanding of services offered on a server operating system from installation and configuration, to management and monitoring. Learners will gain a foundation of knowledge upon which conceptual comprehension and practices skills can be built. Through extensive hands on exercises, they will learn how to install, configure, and administer Web, DNS, Email, Data and Security services. Learners will gain additional experience to troubleshoot and maintain the services and the server environment through a variety of individual or group case projects. Windows Server 2012 and CentOS will be the two operating systems used as examples in this course. |
