| Description | This course introduces the student to the profession of nursing as a practice discipline. The development of caring, communication, and critical thinking skills with well individuals of varying age groups, in a variety of settings, will be fostered. Nursing practice opportunities will assist the student to understand and promote the concepts of health and wellness from personal, family and community perspectives. A variety of psychomotor nursing skills will be learned in the laboratory setting. |
