The main purpose of this course is to provide students with a strong understanding of object-oriented technology and help them incorporate the technology into the design of various types of applications. Students will explore object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts including abstraction, encapsulation, inheritance and polymorphism as well as object-oriented considerations for software design and reuse. The concepts will be demonstrated by using Console applications and Windows Form applications with Visual Studio .NET 2012. The language of instruction is C#.
